On February 10, 2020 at approximately 2:10 pm. Oakland Police, Fire and First Aid were dispatched to the intersection of Thornton Road and Wright Way on a reported motor vehicle accident with entrapment.

Upon the arrival of Oakland police, they confirmed a one vehicle involved accident with the vehicle off the road and on its side, however the occupant was able to self extricate and was later evaluated by members of the Oakland First Aid Squad.

Rockland Electric was requested to the scene due to the vehicle impacting and coming to rest against an electrical box.

Once Rockland Electric arrived on scene, they secured the electric and damaged utility box. The fire department then secured the vehicle so it could be up righted and removed.
