The Borough of Oakland held its annual Town Carnival on June 15, 16, 17 and 18 at the Oakland Recreation fields and once again the Oakland Volunteer Fire Department participated in this event with our members manning the Dunk Tank and an appearance from Sparky the fire dog who entertained the kids and took on a few of the rides.

Members handed out information on fire safety as well as providing entertainment by dunking a number of fire department participants who braved the cool water for the fun of the crowd. We look forward to attending this event next year.
