In the early morning hours of Thursday, June 16th, the OVFD responded to a house fire on Ryerson avenue

The call came into the fire department at approximately 5:45 AM and the 2 alarm fire was knocked down in approximately 15 minutes. Oakland received help from neighboring fire departments from Franklin Lakes, Mahwah and Wyckoff. Three people escaped from the home with one of the resident suffering second degree burns.
